Happy 2018! Resmini Interview

Dear Flute Lovers,

Update: 2019 Emma Resmini Interview: https://youtu.be/3p-eqbzgm40

Originally I wrote:

A Happy New Year to all!
Over the holidays I've been enjoying the Paul Edmund-Davies 24 free sequences (prior post).
A great deal of thought has gone into them; highly recommended! And a reminder, they will no longer be free after the holidays, as they will be published in printed form. So visit those free pages early!

I also really enjoyed the Emma Resmini interview at the Flute Examiner this week:

There are great videos of Emma's performances as well:

Hope everyone is well and happy!
Best, for 2018.

Dear Jennifer,
I wish you happy new year too!
I am flute student from Serbia, and i am going to competition with my friend (who is also flute player), and we have to preform something that is written by female composer, i will be so gratefull if you can give me some advice or composition that we could play?

Best regards,
Danijela.

You can order these two-flute-piano pieces from Fluteworld.

Jennifer Grady - Soaring
(two sea birds flying on high)

or

Madeline Dring - Trio - second mvmt: Semplice

Both are stellar.

Best, Jen

Hi Jay,
You would have to ask a Yamaha dealer who could look it up in their books of measurements. Likely it will fit (most Yamaha headjoints fit most Yamaha bodies). But only a Yamaha specialist would know for sure. Jen
